Jay-Z Maintains Drake Isn’t On His Level

This is whole lot of feud. But it’s also something you can’t find on beef moved into 2020. So am kind of nervous of why Jay-Z and Drake haven’t collab in recent years. It sounds what exactly is going on probably to unbeknown folks, right ?

Jay-Z and Drake aren’t just rap tycoons but most times hip-hop moguls shows credibility beyond peers and that’s how Hov always felt. Nobody is denying his accolades though Drake might’ve stepped unbeknownst on Jay-Z.

When you rap you’re commonly passing strong message to those who genuinely understand what hip-hop and Jay-Z isn’t shy to flow on Shining by DJ Khaled featuring both Hov and his wife Beyonce.

The song even caught attention with viral gimmicks leading into by speculation related to Jay-Z’s verse, specifically, four lines that may or may not be aimed at Drake, according to medium.

On “Shining,” Jay Z raps: “I know you ain’t out here talkin’ numbers, right / I know you ain’t out here talkin’ summers, right / I know you ain’t walkin’ ’round talkin’ down / Sayin’ boss shit when you a runner, right?”

According to Rap Genius annotations, the jabs can be deciphered as follows: Jay might be calling out Drake’s line on “Grammys” where he references going Platinum, his song “Summer Sixteen” where he talks about coming for revenge all Summer long and this Summer-referencing line from “Sneakin’.” The talk of summer pertains to Jay-Z’s pride of dominating the summer in terms of radio airplay, album sales, and touring, throughout his career.

In any event, these lines are Hov’s continued explanation of why the Canadian rapper simply isn’t at his level. He sets his points as rhetorical questions, seemingly acting confused at why Drake continues to come for his throne when his position clearly doesn’t match the braggadocio attitude he keeps throwing out.

Jay-Z reputation is mostly what his fans gripped on. Drake isn’t in any level with Jay and unable to rival with him in any level, as those 4:44 fans admitted. His verse on Khaled 2017 Grateful song, Shining, is possibly why Hov and Drizzy are keeping distance.
